We have outgrown the old 1983 prayer/ assembly hall made to house a maximum of 50 persons. In the new quarters we have built with your help, there is room for a brand new spacious prayer hall.

Today, we have over 150 monks ranging from the very young to the very old. And we have definately outgrown the old prayerhall. On hot summer days, the hall just does not accomodte enough oxygen for the number of praying and reciting participants!

When big pujas with 150 monks participate and tea and food has to be dispensed, there are considerable problem with space.
Considering the fact that all of our prayers and pujas are performed in this crammed space, and that the prayer hall is an integral part of the education of our young monks and the daily life of our older monks, you may understand what a new space would mean to us!
We are planning for a new prayer hall to be built on the new premises - housing more than 150 monks!
The cost of the prayer/assembly-hall is estimated to be around INR 32,000,000.00 Rupees, depending on global recession and material costs. There is ample room on the premises for this building.
