We need YOUR helpTraditionally monks have been dependent on and supported by the families and the community in which they live. In Exile, this has proven to be very difficult. A lot of the families are too poor to help, or on the "wrong" side of the Indian/Tibetan border.As monks we cannot do salaried work but we contribute with manual labor. The housing-blocks already built was made possible as a result of hard work and kind donations! Physical strength is needed when you move blocks of stone by hand! |
